Having packed 7 chargers for phone, iphone, ipod, laptop, camera, cam-corder and shaver. Plus 2 in-car chargers for phone & iphone. Plus in-car connection for ipod thru car fm radio, I've just got enough room for a pair of shorts and a vest. (I kid you not!)
At least I don't have to pack a charger for a hearing aid like Boley does.
Talking of Boley, he came round tonight on the pretext of booking our flight seats online but couldn't so he drank my beer and gave Maxine a goodbye kiss.
Stu from across the road is giving us a lift, in my car, to Manchester airport at 06:45 and his mate, Shandy-Pants will be picking us up, yes in my car, in 3 weeks time.
Shandy-Pants is called Shandy-Pants coz he can't take his ale. If "can't take your ale" means drinking all day & all night until us older ones are unconscious while he is still coherent, then he "can't take his ale"
Anyway, any name is better than being called Nigel, isn't it Shandy-Pants?
Right got to get some beauty sleep as I have a big day ahead tomorrow. Oops, make that today!
Let's hope this blog gets a little more interesting once we land in USA. You might even get the odd photo. (or very odd photo!)
