Hopped into O'Hare at 1pm and blew into the Windy City at 3. (sorry, those are Boley's lines!)
Checked into our luxurious Travelodge and went for a beer in a bar next door, and here's the proof:
Walked around Chicago for a bit, but as we haven't any maps, we didn't know where we were going, so we headed to Lake Michigan.
Chicago is really nice, well what we saw in Grant's Park is, so we took lots of photo's of skyscrapers, modern art things and ducks
Then we went for a beer, and here's the proof: (can you see a theme beginning to start here?)
Now back at the hotel and are going out for something to eat and drink.

I like this blogging. it is fun. Think I'll start my own blog and seek ideas on what to do with my redundancy and other things.
Showed myself up slightly at the gym yesterday but I'll get over it. I always do. Bill approached me to inform me you owe him a fiver in sponsorship money. i will pay it on your behalf but you owe me!! Be careful with the boozing, you're not youngsters and neither of you are big and clever.
No-one has been to 'look after' me yet but i have been keeping the doors locked.

One other thing to remember, "having wood" also has a different meaning in the USA. This is useful advice if you encounter the aforementioned Hillbillies. Under no circumstances approach them asking "hey fellas, have you guys got wood?" especially if you have a tendancy to squeal like a pig. Boley, dont re-grow the tache mate !! Peace. TBQ
